
The Easter candy smash eggs are starting to roll out! I have batches of these going out almost every day this week. They are definitely the top item this Easter season. Filled with M&M's and mini cookies and cream chocolate egg candy, they're the perfect sweet addition to any Easter basket. Not only fun to smash with their little wooden hammer, but fun to eat too. 🐰

The first Easter cake of the season left the Cafe today. This is a 9" round, five layer high, pineapple flavored cake. Layered throughout with real crushed pineapples and pineapple buttercream. The bark on the stump, flowers, leaves, and bunny butt were all hand sculpted here in the cafe from fondant and sugar gum paste. The Easter eggs are Cadbury chocolate eggs. The perfect sweet addition to any Easter celebration. 🐰

And the last item to round out the party treats were these vanilla cupcakes. Also dyed green and decorated with green buttercream, actual Lucky Charm cereal marshmallows, and gold glitter. Happy Birthday Jaycen! 🥳

And along with the cookies were these vanilla cake pops. They were dyed green and covered in a green candy shell. And topped with edible gold dust and glitter for that extra shine. 😎

Our little Lucky Charm turned two this weekend, so he had a "Two Lucky" themed birthday. So to help out with this theme, CWC started with these cute Lucky Charm marshmallow shaped sugar cookies. 😋

This adorable set of Stitch sugar cookies left the Cafe this morning. Each Stitch character was hand drawn in a variety of different styles. And of course he was accompanied by some Hawaiian flowers, palm trees, and surfboards. Definitely a top fave of mine! ❤️

I was honored to be asked to make this cake today for my brother John's surprise 60th birthday party. I included a few good natured age ribbings such as the speed limit sign and the "oldometer". But also included his favorite things such as a picture of his Nova at Bunker Hill Dragstrip. This cake was a 10" french vanilla cake with real strawberry filling surrounded by a strawberry buttercream made with real dried strawberries crushed right in. The outside was covered in CWCs signature vanilla buttercream and all blinged out with edible prism glitter. Happy 60th birthday with love! ❤️

One more special item for Easter! These are CWC's Easter Egg Baby Cakes. If any of you were at the Valentines Market last month, you would have seen the mini heart cakes that I had there. Well these are the Easter version of those. And yes, I told y'all I like the baby cakes name better than mini cakes, so here we are. Haha The designs and colors on these will vary. (I'm still waiting on the final packaging and decorations to come in for these. So these pics are pretty basic) but these will be available in any cake flavor for $2.00 each and come with their own colorful spoon to eat right out of the packaging. 🐰 Just message me here at the Cafe to place your orders!

And let's not forget about our Easter Sugar Cookies! The most popular have been the carrots and bunny peeps. These can also be personalized with names on them, just specify this at the time of ordering.

Here's another Easter favorite: Bunny Butt Cupcakes! These are available in any cupcake flavor, or as a fudgy chocolatey brownie. Each bunny butt is made with a cake pop covered in buttercream with chocolate bunny feet made from scratch here in the Cafe. These are available for $3.00 each for the Easter season. 🐰

The next item available for the Easter season: Candy Smash Eggs. These are large egg sized candy eggs filled with Easter candies. Each order comes with its own little wooden hammer to use to crack the eggs open. These are available for $2.00 each and can be ordered in any quantity. Another popular item that makes its appearance only once a year for Easter, are these adorable little Baby Chick Cakes. These are made out of two large cupcakes and decorated with buttercream and modeling chocolate. Each little chick can be ordered in any cake flavor and come individually packaged. So let's kick off the season with a popular tradition: the Easter Lamb Cake. This is a classic pound cake with CWCs signature buttercream. I have a fun one for you all today. When I received the request to recreate a wedding cake for a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party, y'all know I just had to do it! 😊 Working off an original wedding picture, a similar design was created. With a special shout out to the ladies who found an exact 50 year old replica of the original cake topper!! It really pulled the entire look together. 🩷 Such a cool idea for such a special anniversary. The cake itself had a 6" tier of french vanilla cake, a 9" triple chocolate cake, and a 12" french vanilla cake. Each tier was layered throughout with a vanilla maple buttercream. All flowers and leaves for this cake were handmade here in the cafe out of sugar gum paste. Congratulations to the happy couple on your very special 50th anniversary!! 🥂

And among my family growing again today by one 💙, the baking continues. 😊 This anniversary cake is an 8" triple chocolate cake with a maple vanilla buttercream filling. The outside is a vanilla buttercream dusted in edible prism glitter for that extra special sparkle. Happy Anniversary! 🥂

Absolutely gorgeous set up at Southgate Crossing today for the Candy Land Party!! And a great turnout starting already first thing this morning. Loved seeing all the kiddos in line looking so excited. Make sure you stop by the Ice Palace and check out Cake Walk Cafe's Candy Land Cake! 😋

Also leaving the Cafe today was this awesome Concord High School baseball jersey. This is a triple chocolate, 2 layer high cake with vanilla buttercream filling. All designs were hand sketched and then created with buttercream using the "old school" style star tipping method. This method is a real hand clencher by the end, but oh so worth it for the crisp finished look. Happy 17th Birthday, Alex! I hope you have a great one! 🥳

This was the week for cakes and I was loving every minute of it! Custom cakes are my favorite passion and the entire reason I started CWC. This one is a Dragon Ball Z themed cake. It is an 8" round, four layer high, French Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling and covering. The decorations were all made from a mixture of sugar gum paste and modeling chocolate. Okay folks, as promised, here is the cake that is going to be raffled off at the Candy Land Parry at Southgate Crossing tomorrow, Saturday the 24th. This is an 8" round, four layer high, French vanilla flavored cake. Each layer is a different color for that Candy Land rainbow look when cut. Layered within and on the outside with CWCs signature buttercream. The cake is also buried in even more sweetness: sprinkles, suckers with a chewing gum center, gumdrops, gummi bears, licorice, a melted vanilla candy drip around the edges, and even a sugar cone buttercream ice cream cone. And in the middle of it all is an actual gingerbread Candy Land character. This cake will have your sweet tooth watering for a taste of every stop in Candy Land. Make sure you bring the kiddos in to the event from 10:30am to 3:30pm tomorrow for a chance to win.🍬🍭

Here at CWC I've made custom cakes by request ranging from adorably innocent, to elegant, to the creepiest of creepy. And anyone that remembers my "IT" cake from Halloween a couple of years ago, knows exactly what I'm talking about. I even freaked myself out with that one. Haha This cake today falls into the same category. Meet Kissy Missy. An adorable Teddy Bear creature? Not quite with all of those jagged creature teeth. This is a funfetti flavored cake with fur-like buttercream frosting and modeling chocolate facial features. With each tooth being formed by hand here in the cafe. This bright pink sweet treat is sure to be the talk of the party. 🥳
