These cake pops are all decked out for the fourth of July! These are a triple chocolate cake pop covered in a candy shell and served in a sugar cone. Ice cream and snow cones have never been sweeter. π or more patriotic. πΊπ²

This big beauty left the Cafe today. This is a half sheet size, three layer tall, banana cake with banana buttercream. All of the decorations were made out of vanilla fondant and completely edible. The "sand" itself is made from crushed chocolate chip cookies. The perfect compliment to all the delicious banana sweetness. Happy Birthday Grayson! π₯³

And then there was this beautiful princess castle cake for a beautiful little princess on her 4th birthday. This is an 8", five layer high, funfetti flavor cake. Each moist layer with a layer of sweet vanilla buttercream in between. All decorations were made from vanilla fondant and sugar gum paste. The tower itself was also made from funfetti cake and covered in vanilla fondant. Topped off in light, minty shades of green (Her favorite color) and an edible picture of the birthday princess up in the tower. Happy Birthday, Makayla! π₯³

We also had these baseball sugar cookies leave the cafe this weekend. A sweet reward for the kiddos for doing such a great job! βΎοΈ Huge shoutout to the great coaches that do such nice things for their teams. π

Another busy week in the books for CWC. Starting with these 60th wedding anniversary cakes. The two tiered cake is a white cake with real raspberry filling, with a 10" on the bottom and an 8" on the top. Decorated with a combination of buttercream flowers and sugar gum paste flowers, all blinged out with edible glitter. The smaller cake is a 5" round in the same flavor and matching decorations as the larger cake, made specifically just for the "bride and groom". Happy Anniversary!! πΎπ₯

And one more grad cake went out this morning. This is a large 12", four layer high, marble flavored cake. Layered throughout and covered in vanilla buttercream. The entire outside is decorated with glitter covered rosettes. The graduate on the front is made from modeling chocolate. Congratulations on your achievements, Mariah! π₯³

CWCs sugar cookies are ready to celebrate this graduate's big day. With the colorful robes, confetti sprinkles and cute sayings, these are sure to be a hit at the party. Congratulations graduate! π₯³

Tis the weekend for graduation parties! π Starting with this tall beauty. This is a two tiered white cake with real raspberry filling. With a 10" cake as the bottom tier, and an 8" cake for the top tier, there's a whole lot of sweetness for this graduate's party. π Each cake frosted in the "semi-naked" buttercream style and trimmed on the bottom with a quilted modeling chocolate and gold candy pearls. The diploma and flowers were also made with modeling chocolate and trimmed in gold dust. Congratulations on your accomplishments and good luck in your next adventures! π₯³

This cute combo left the Cafe yesterday. This is a 6" inch, three layer high, strawberry banana cake. Layered inside and covered in a "semi-naked" design with marshmallow vanilla buttercream. The 12 cupcakes surrounding the cake are also strawberry banana flavored and topped with the marshmallow vanilla buttercream. This Summer Nights theme is completed by the adorable little plastic frogs and the "starry" fairy lights.

All set up for a beautiful wedding this evening. Of course I'm partial to this one since purple is my favorite color. π The cake is a 6" cookies and cream flavor in a "semi-naked" frosting design. I unfortunately don't have a picture of the finished cake yet, but the florist for this wedding was adding her own real flowers before the reception to my basic design. The 140 cupcakes consisted of the following flavors: vanilla, cookies and cream, and vanilla with a raspberry filling. The raspberry filling was made from scratch here in the cafe with real raspberries. All cupcakes of course were covered in edible glitter and displayed on a white, four tiered cupcake tower, complete with white lighting on each tier. Congratulations on your wedding, Mr & Mrs Bayes! π₯

This fluffy little cow cake is on his way to a birthday party. This is a 6" vanilla cake that's layered and covered in CWCs signature vanilla buttercream. The cow's eyes, nose, ears and horns are sculpted from modeling chocolate. Happy Birthday! π₯³

Awhile back I mentioned that I was dabbling in hyperrealistic cakes. So when an opportunity came up to do an "Is It Cake" themed birthday, I was super excited. So the adventure begins with a variety fruit bowl of apples, oranges, lemons, limes, and strawberries. These are made with vanilla flavored cake with buttercream frosting. Each item hand sculpted and shaped and coated in candy melts, then covered in modeling chocolate and painted with edible paints. I'm looking forward to making more items like this because it's so much fun! And I love a challenge! π

Can you say colorful and shiny? Well this cake sure can. This is a 6", three layer high, half french vanilla and half triple chocolate cake. Covered in a colorful mix of marshmallow vanilla buttercream in vibrant yellow, pink, purple and blue. And the best part? This little bundle of sweetness is just bathed in 10k gold edible glitter. Wish I would have gotten a picture of it in the sun because it sparkled like a disco ball. π

This adorable little Alice in Wonderland themed smash cake left the Cafe tonight. This is a 6", three layer high, triple chocolate cake, layered throughout with a marshmallow vanilla buttercream. The flowers were hand sculpted here out of modeling chocolate. The whimsical swirly wonderland style "candle" itself is also sculpted from modeling chocolate. Happy smashing on your special day!! π₯³

This quarter sheet cake was a three thick layer high, red velvet cake. This was for a gentlemen who was retiring from a company that has a line of faux bricks, stones, etc. So what better way to decorate his cake then with some faux brick work of my own. Except that my brick was created one piece at a time out of sugar gum paste and then painted with edible coloring to look like textured brick. Congratulations on your retirement! π

Just making money here at CWC this weekend. LITERALLY making money. Printing up my own out of sugar wafer paper to create this unique cake. This cake was created special just for the birthday boy and goes with the casino themed cupcakes in my previous post. This is a 6", two layer, marble flavor cake, filled and topped with creamy whipped cream frosting. Surrounding the outside are rolls of $100 bills that are fully edible. And everything topped off with edible gold glitter for that added casino bling! Happy Birthday Aiden! β¦οΈβ£οΈβ₯οΈβ οΈ

A casino themed birthday was the name of the game at the Cafe today. This was a mixture of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes topped with a creamy whipped cream frosting. Decorated with real poker chips, and fully edible sugar gum paste dice, along with sugar gum paste cards that were made here by hand. β οΈβ₯οΈβ£οΈβ¦οΈ

Elsa froze her way through the Cafe today. She was on her way to help a special little girl turn 4. This is a 6", three layer high, vanilla cake with a marshmallow vanilla buttercream filling. Topped off on the outside with a white chocolate candy drip, Elsa and Olaf, along with a castle, some snowflakes, and tons of snowflake glitter and sprinkle candy. And just to add a little extra bling, I added some "ice" lighting around the bottom of the cake. Happy 4th Birthday! π₯³

And the last of the Mother's Day Cupcake Bouquets went out today. β€οΈ I'm completely obsessed with making buttercream flowers lately! π With a mixture of vanilla and chocolate flavors, creamy vanilla buttercream, and lots of blingy glitter, these are sure to brighten a few Mother's days this weekend. π

It's the weekend for Mom. So what better way to celebrate her and her accomplishments then with this bright, summery yellow daisy cake? This is an 8", four layer high, vanilla cake layered throughout and covered in CWCs signature vanilla buttercream. Decorating this cake are some buttercream daisies along with a few artificial flowers, and of course edible gold glitter for that added Mom bling. π
